We are a partner organisation in the People’s Conversation, which will host a series of parallel conversations asking what it means to be a citizen in 21st century Ireland. These national conversations are being coordinated by the Wheel with funding from the Carnegie Trust.
Over a series of parallel conversations, the views of those taking part will be gathered together into a single national “Vision for Citizenship for 21st Century Ireland”. We think the time is right to rethink citizenship for today’s Ireland. These conversations will ask what it means to be a citizen in Ireland today — and what we, as citizens, want for the future.
